Information regarding the online Offering Memorandum available from this website

The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong takes no responsibility as to the contents of the online Offering Memorandum or any other documents referred to or available from this website.

The AA confirms that the contents of the online Offering Memorandum are identical to the corresponding printed Offering Memorandum dated 10 March 2003.

Hard copies of the Offering Memorandum are available during normal business hours from 09:00 a.m. on 11 March 2003 to 12:00 p.m. on 20 March  2003 at the locations listed below.

The chief executive officer and the executive directors of the AA collectively and individually accept full responsibility for the accuracy of the information contained in the online Offering Memorandum and confirm, having made all reasonable enquiries, that to the best of their knowledge and belief there are no other facts the omission of which would make any statement therein misleading.

Notes cannot be applied for through this website. The Offering Memorandum is for distribution only.

Applications for Notes will be made only by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Bank of Communication, Hong Kong Branch, The Bank of East Asia, Limited, Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited, Dao Heng Bank Limited, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, International Bank of Asia  Limited, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited, Nanyang Commercial Bank, Limited, Standard Chartered Bank and Wing Lung Bank Limited, each a "Placing Bank" and together, the "Placing Banks".  No application form is being issued for the Notes: you must instruct one of the Placing Banks to apply for Notes on your behalf.  In order to instruct a Placing Bank to apply for Notes on your behalf, you must already have, or must open, a bank account and also an investment account with the Placing Bank you intend to instruct.

Information and instructions on how to apply for Notes are contained in the section headed "How to Apply for the Notes" in the hard copy of the Offering Memorandum and the online Offering Memorandum.
